Sarah has lived most of her life in Italy. She moved to Florence shortly after graduating from Bard College, where she received a liberal arts degree with a focus on painting. She studied mainly with Alan Cote, an American and postwar contemporary painter but also received guidance from visiting artists Roy Lichtenstein and Richard Pousette-Dart.

Sarah has had a career as a teacher for the past 25 years. She received a masters in both guidance and counseling and special education. Sarah has always utilized her artistic identity in her teaching style by fostering students' creativity and their ability to express themselves in various art forms.

In recent years, Sarah has been exploring various materials and looking for unique and innovative ways to express her vision and ideas. Sarah has shown her work in Italian educational settings and boutique gallery shows.
